However, online phone shopping can save people time and energy and can ensure the gifts are bought.

If you decide do online phone shopping, you should consider investing in a CS60 and GN 9120 headset. If you buy nice headsets online, you can then use them to do all of your holiday shopping. All you have to do is do the research to find out which company has what product, and then you can ring them up and talk. The headsets ensure that while you’re ordering products your hands are free so that you can clean the house, hold a baby, drive, or do any number of other activities. This in turn increases a person’s productivity and makes shopping that much easier!

Audio Conferencing - with a multitude of options for ease of use

There is a new way to hold business meetings, either scheduled or on the spot, called "audio conferencing".  A meeting can be held over phone lines, though a central connection from a provider, for almost any number of attendees.  The meeting holder connects by using a dial-in number, code and PIN.  Participants attend by using a toll-free number and are connected either by an operator assist or dialing a pass-code.

Reservations are made in advance, and the key speaker receives special instructions to identify themselves as the host.  Operator assistance and advanced features are available if needed.  Participants are directed to a specific "meeting room" where the interactive meeting can then take place.  These meetings can be between two to hundreds of participants.

Audio conferencing is a good way to bring together a remote sales force for meetings, because it can be global.  It is good for spur of the moment meetings as well.  It is similar to an online chat room, where participants can gather, without travel expenses, at a designated time for discussion meetings.

Recordings of meetings, and transcriptions are an available option.  There are reservation-less connections also available for those immediate meetings that occur.  Another option is to have the meeting scheduled, presented, and archived and on the web.  Technology improvements make these meetings easy and clear.

Cell Phone Number Trace

There have likely been occurrences when you have received a call from a cell phone number. The problem is that if you have caller identification on your phone, you will not know the name of the caller. Caller identification will only give you the number and in some cases not even that. If you are being harassed by an anonymous cell phone caller, there is a way to discover to whom that number belongs.

You can trace any cell phone number with reverse phone tracer for any number. If you are wondering how this can work when typical caller identification cannot, you are not looking in the right place. Every phone must be paid on a monthly basis for its use, and by using a cell phone number trace, you can find out the name of the person paying the bill. In the instance of cell phones, the person who pays the bill is almost always guaranteed to be the owner. When you use a reverse phone tracer for any phone number, you will learn who paid the bill for that phone, and who has been calling you anonymously.

No longer do you have to worry about not knowing who is calling you. It is easy to trace any cell phone number using a reverse phone tracer for any phone number.

Generally cell phone companies require all users to sign a one or two year contract. By the end of the two years, your phone number was more than likely passed around a few hundred times or more. Constantly random numbers and 1-800 numbers continue to call, leaving messages about your ‘car warranty expiration date’ or telemarketers trying to sell. Contact www.numberinvestigator.com and report those pesky telemarketers. A way to get your number taken off their list is ignore the call, then call that number right back and follow the prompt. Free information and reverse cell phone lookup is available online which provides many phone number details. Find out what company, city, state and more with numberinvestigator.com.

Josh Brolin as Dan Brown in the Milk DVD<

Films, at their very core, are about conflict. Conflict is often the byproduct of how characters play off one another. In the Harvey Milk DVD, we see a great deal of conflict between the title character of Harvey Milk and his nemesis Dan Brown.

In real life, both Milk and Brown were supervisors on San Francisco’s political board. Milk was a gay activist and Brown was a fading member of the old guard. Over time, Brown would develop serious mental illness issues which would lead to his murder of both Milk and San Francisco Mayor George Moscone. In the Milk DVD, the audiences it presented with a clear depiction of Brown thanks to the excellent acting of Josh Brolin. Brolin makes Brown more than a mere nemesis. He presents him as a thoroughly troubled individual whose rage eventually led to murder.

While Brolin does not present Brown as a caricature, he also does not present him in an overly sympathetic light. Brown was responsible for the deaths of two people and his actions are not presented in any way that would be considered justifiable. Yet, the Milk DVD does delve into the character enough so that the motivations are made clear and a better understanding of the events is presented.

Will SMith's "Seven Pounds" on DVD

If confusion is a virtue, Will Smith's "Seven Pounds," now out on DVD, is saintly. What Smith's character is doing and why is not clear until half way through the movie. When the audience solves the shifting perspectives, flash-backs, images and clues, it will either react in shock or incredulity. Smith's acting is competent, his co-star Rosario Dawson lights up the screen, and the supporting case of Woody Harrelson, Barry Pepper and Michael Ealy are solid. The story line of "Seven Pounds" is deliberately mysterious; it is one man's search for forgiveness and renewal, but his chosen means are bizarre and morally gray. Smith's character forges fleeting and peculiar relationships, the purposes of which are not clear until the central plot puzzle is resolved. At that point, the story line trends downward to even lower notes. "Seven Pounds DVD " Director Gabriel Muccino plays with time and rhythm in this film, much of which is beautifully shot and easy on the eye. The DVD is heavy on features, playing with the "seven" theme and giving a detailed back-stage perspective. For example, one feature is called "Seven Views on Seven Pounds" and airs seven commentaries from writer, composer, director, designer, and others.

Google's Moon Prize Upped by YouNeverCall Online Cell Phone Store

Online Cell Phone Superstore YouNeverCall has added an additional prize to Google's recently announced prize for landing a spacecraft on the Moon. YouNeverCall offers $10,000 to the first company to successfully place a cellular phone call from the moon.

Los Angeles, California September 21, 2007 -- YouNeverCall Inc. the popular online cell phone superstore (http://www.younevercall.com), today announced a $10,000 prize award for the first cell phone call placed from the moon.

This announcement follows on the coattails of Google's (http://www.google.com) announcement of $30M in prize money for landing a craft on the moon by Dec. 31, 2014. YouNeverCall has decided to allow a few more days to place the first cell phone call from the moon and so the deadline has been set for January 7, 2015 - which is a Wednesday.

In order to claim the $10,000 prize a cell phone call must be placed by a device or person present on the Moon's surface. This call must pass through a commercially available cellular phone to YouNeverCall's corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. The call may travel via any protocol or compression before reaching our offices, and it must be possible to for the caller to answer a few yes/no questions correctly. Like Google, YouNeverCall is offering a lesser prize for companies who achieve a related but lesser goal. YouNeverCall is offering a $500 prize to the first SMS message that travels via the moon and lands on one of our corporate cell phones (http://www.younevercall.com). Furthermore, the company is offering a $100 bounty to the first party who receives a cell phone call on the Moon that rings using the infamous Crazy Frog Ringtone.

While Google's goal is to cause excitement around renewed space exploration, YouNeverCall aims to extend Google's mission by introducing a new facet. "We feel that by challenging the scientific community with performing an everyday task on the moon, we are going a step further than Google. While the journey itself may be the destination in some sense - we think doing something useful once you get there will also add a little something," said Sam Michelson, VP Marketing for YouNeverCall.

YouNeverCall reminds readers that use of cell phones outside of one's calling area may incur steep roaming charges.

Apple Reinvents the Phone with iPhone

MACWORLD SAN FRANCISCO-January 9, 2007-Apple® today introduced iPhone, combining three products-a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod® with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, searching and maps-into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting users control iPhone with just their fingers. iPhone also ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, which completely redefines what users can do on their mobile phones.

"iPhone is a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of any other mobile phone," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We are all born with the ultimate pointing device-our fingers-and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse."

Gifts for You

When you are selecting gifts to give for the groomsmen at your wedding, you should put a lot of consideration into your choices. Remember that those who volunteer to be in the ceremony are offering you their time and money. A small gift is the perfect way to say thank you for their sacrifice.

There are many options from which to choose, but many believe that it is more difficult to shop for gifts for their best man, usher, ring bearer and groomsman than it is for the brides maids. You might not have thought about it, but one of the best options to give to men are mobile phones. This is especially the case when you have your wedding in a distant location. By giving your groomsmen cell phones, they can stay in touch with their friends and family back home.

Do not concern yourself with the cost of offering mobile phones or other small electronics to your groomsmen. Weddings only come once in a lifetime - usually - and a large budget is expected. Your friends have taken time from their lives to be at all of the wedding rehearsals and at the ceremony. They have offered you friendship and support throughout the wedding planning. They deserve something special for their groomsmen gifts that are perfect for your best man, usher, ring bearer and groomsman.

Gifts for Christmas

The message of giving at this time of year surrounds us no matter where we go. Stores are filled with gifts waiting to be purchased, and everyone feels a sense of giving.  But the first gift that most of us give is the Christmas tree we give to ourselves. Christmas trees have a special place not only in our homes, but at work, the gym and just about everywhere we visit. They are the spirit of the holiday and we all express that spirit using our own unique style and creativity. Christmas trees are statements of giving and receiving and are gifts of individual flair and fashion.

Christmas trees are the foundation for family and individual holiday expression. The decorations that are chosen tell a story about us and about what we believe. Each ornament has a meaning. They represent a person, place or thing that brings a memory to mind. Each ornament is a keepsake that repeats itself every year. The lights enclose the tree in a special energy. Small lights, big lights, blinking lights colored and white lights all add a design element to the tree and it lives with that energy. The finished Christmas tree is a work of art. It’s personal expression for everyone to see. Each tree tells a tale of the changes and the growth experienced that year and the gifts under the tree dress it in the awareness of unity. The first gift of Christmas, the Christmas tree, is a true expression of love.

The iTunes Store now offers over 350 television shows, over 250 feature films and over 5,000 music videos.

Nokia and France Telecom sign an integration and hosting contract
December 07, 2006

NOKIA LOGONokia supports France Telecom in launching the Orange branded "Mon PC à distance" service Espoo, Finland -

Nokia and France Telecom have signed a contract that will see Nokia integrate a customized remote content service and related platforms into the operator's network.  Nokia will also host the commercial service, thus enabling France Telecom to roll out the solution more quickly and efficiently. The service, developed with France Telecom according to its broad market and customer understanding, will enable France Telecom's Orange mobile customers to remotely access their personal photos, videos and music stored on their PC at home, as well as to watch, view and listen to them from anywhere on their Orange mobile device.

The service marks the first convergent application implemented by Nokia to France Telecom. "Mon PC à distance" users simply need to download client software from Orange's web site to their PCs at home.  No specific client is needed on their mobile devices.  Indeed, any mobile device having standard browsing and multimedia capabilities is compatible with "my remote PC" service, although the advanced browsing, image and sound capabilities of the Nokia Nseries will leverage this new exciting "place & time shift" experience even further. "People nowadays have a lot of personal content stored in their home PC's, such as videos, photos, music and office documents. Our new HomeZone service enables people to access this content anytime and anywhere," says Laurence Thouveny, Vice President HomeZone, France Telecom NExT Marketing. "Nokia is a trusted provider of systems integration and hosting services, able to support us for the launch of new and innovative services." "Mon PC à distance" was first launched on the 16th of November 2006 in France, from where the solution can be rolled out into other France Telecom affiliates internationally.

Nokia will provide France Telecom with consulting and integration, as well as hosting and maintenance services. "Cost and complexity are challenges that operators face when launching and managing new services. There is a growing demand for us to help them avoid costly and risky investments and bring the services faster to market. Nokia Mobility Hosting aims at eliminating the risks and giving operators the confidence to explore and discover new revenue streams," says Ronan Trébaol, Partnership Project Director, Networks, Nokia. "We are pleased to support France Telecom in offering a new generation of mobile services to change people's everyday lives." With its in-depth understanding of operators' business and networks expertise, Nokia Consulting & Integration (C&I) helps operators to differentiate and introduce new services to market more quickly, ensure quality of experience and help drive customer loyalty by providing consulting and professional services in the areas of network design, service management and performance, and service delivery solutions. Nokia C&I has completed more than 350 systems integration projects globally. Hosting is one of the many tools that Nokia can offer operators to help grow their business and manage their costs in the face of ever-toughening competition and growing technological complexity.

With its proven track record in managing networks on behalf of operators around the world, Nokia is able to support operators to enhance their service offerings and reduce costs. Nokia is a major player in the Managed Services business with close to 60 managed services contracts globally.
